As you all know, I’m a huge health and fitness freak… I like to make sure that I get plenty of exercise and that I’m eating right. With summer just around the corner there’s no better time than now to get into shape!
Today I’m going to let you in on another healthy eating tip of mine…. Cut out the carbs! It’s simple… if you want to look cut- cut out the carbs 😉
The aim of low carbohydrate diets is to force the body to use fat as its main energy source. Try sticking to fruits, vegetables, and lean proteins!
Thing is, many of the foods people eat on a daily basis are full of refined carbs, including things like high-fructose corn syrup, alcohol, enriched wheat flour and sugar…. All bad for you! Foods to avoid are snacks like chips, cereals, pastries, premade meals, breads, pastas and the worst of all… fast food.
Make it a point to avoid carbs when possible…. If you can’t cut them out altogether then at least cut back on them, or limit yourself to only eating them early in the day, and then having a carb free evening meal. The key is moderation!
