Summum Magazine Cover
Allo les amis, I had the immense pleasure of shooting with my very good friend Paul Buceta. It’s always fun and exciting when we work together. We shoot for fun without the pressure of having work done on time and/or having to get what publishers want.
Paul is the best to shoot with because he understands the play behind shooting. It’s a love story between the model, the camera and the photographer. It’s teamwork and we got a hell of a good team.
I showed up to Paul’s studio in Toronto, Canada, around 8am with a mocha coffee from dunkin donuts and a bagel with butter and cream cheese……yep yep…..Paul showed me his new emplacement which is the size of a football field, huge!!!
Valerie Nova did my makeup and hair, she is GREAT! I’ve worked with a lot of stylists and makeup artists, let me tell you, she knows her stuff, lots of respect for that. She is also a great artist, her paintings are fabulous.
We shot all day, while in the studio, Paul threw water at me, my hair got wet, I was like ????? hummmmm noooo Paul, then he threw oil at me and I was like omg no way, haha. We started to shoot laughing around and yayyyy my 3rd summum magazine cover was born!!! How easy is that…hahaha remember the TEAM…..haha
